Maureen Rosen - Biography
  
 
Maureen Rosen was born in South Africa, and immigrated to Israel in 1968. She lives and works in Haifa. She is married, and the mother of three.


STUDIES

Maureen studied at Rhodes University in South Africa, and at Haifa University. She has participated in many workshops in Israel and abroad. For many years Maureen has been teaching painting and drawing, and is an active member of the Israel Artists’ and Sculptors’ Association.


HER WORK

Maureen works in oils, acrylics, water-colour and mixed media. The drawing line always features in her work, and the human figure is her main theme - people in their natural surroundings, and figures caught in spatial moments of time - and in all, her love of the human scene is evident.
